Ken has 40 years experience in the financial services industry, being former Chairman of the Army Credit Union and in 2007 was appointed as the RSL representative to the Review of the DSH Insurance Scheme.
He was appointed by the Chief of the Defence Force as the inaugural Chairman of the Australian Defence Force Financial Services Consumer Council, working closely with ASIC, the ACCC and Defence Families Australia for the betterment of Defence members and their families.

Ken served for two terms on the Prime Minister’s Advisory Council (Vet) on Ex-Service Matters as a renowned consumer advocate and supporter of the Australian Defence Force. Ken was a recipient of the Prime Minister’s Centenary Medal in 2001 for services to Consumers, and in 2004 he was awarded an AM for services to Consumers, especially Defence members and their families.
